Fitting children's shoes will be a party in our store! Not only do we offer a wide choice of children's shoes with more than 400 models in one size, we also have a large assortment of children's shoes for orthotics (or loose soles). Problem feet are first carefully analyzed by us. Our shoe specialists will provide you with shoes for every type of children's foot. We make sure that every child's foot gets the right shoe so that you as parents can be sure that you've made the right choice. Comfortable steps with a trendy new children's shoe and also in your child's favorite color or style.
Founded children's shoe store in Zonhoven (Hasselt)
The story of Junior Steps started in 1993. We were still very young but we both had a passion for shoes. Because I myself, Marleen, have a very small shoe size (size 34) it was always a huge search to find beautiful shoes. Often we ended up with children's shoes. Because we both love children, the choice for a children's shoe store was quickly made.
Before we started our adventure we first followed an intensive education about children's feet and children's shoes. Here we also learned to analyze children's feet. After this training we were even more convinced of the importance of good children's shoes. We also visited our shoe manufacturers in Italy. These are all small family businesses that still do everything with heart and soul. Because of this, our passion for children's shoes has grown even more. We still work very closely with our manufacturers and get a lot of input into the collections. Each season we are also allowed to create our own collection of different models and color combinations. This Limited Edition is only sold at Junior Steps and we are quite proud of this. This makes that we have a very varied job.
What makes our children's shoe store unique?
In 2018 we did a major expansion with a new store with 3 separate departments: a baby corner with infant train, a kindergarten department and a cool teenager department. Buying children's shoes becomes even more fun for our customers this way. And every day we get happy from children who proudly step outside with their new hip, comfortable shoes in their favorite color. In addition, we have a very user-friendly webshop that is kept up to date, so you can efficiently buy children's shoes online!
